Toothless Plush

OMFG HES FINALLY DONE!!!

So yeah, here is toothless the dragon from How to Train your Dragon.

I did the head in a day a few months back but then uni work took over. I broke up for the christmas holidays and had time on my hands to finish it.

I have spent about 6 days doing nothing but cut & sew, and im super proud of myself. My toothless was created from a pattern by So thank you soo much to her for this pattern.

Toothless has eyes made of Fimo that are glow in the dark this is a first for me and i was super nervous about doing it but fortunatly i had another great tutorial from they were hot glued onto his head as i didnt get chace to buy some saftey eyes. the only down side to them is their a little wonky. He doesnt have claws infortuantly because at the smaller size he is the claws were just WAAY to fiddly, i was going to make him some fimo claws but i never got round to it, i hope that it dusnt make him less authentic or anything cus being a cosplay im a sucker for authenticity and acuraccy. I even reswed his wing like 3 times to get it in the right place XD

He is made from black fleece and stuffed with cotton wool,

The original pattern by made a plush about 3 ft long with a wing span of 3.5 ft but my partner didnt want a plush so huge (cus hes boring lol) so i used the pattern the size that it loaded and my final plush is roughly 22 inches long with a wingspan of 18 inches

Once i graduate Uni i may make a full 3ft plush as i really want a huge one for myself hehehe and now i have had the experiance of making a smaller one i will feel more comfortable making a larger one.
